The Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation, an affiliate of the Illinois Junior Chamber, is registered as a not-for-profit organization under the laws of the State of Illinois and is recognized as a publicly supported charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.

Our mission is to support the Illinois Jaycees by providing a means to receive tax-deductible gifts for the Illinois Jaycees and their member chapters. Additionally, we award scholarships to Illinois high school students on behalf of the Illinois Jaycees.

Over the years, we have received donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations, and have raised funds through various events and fundraisers. The Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation has awarded over $75,000 in college scholarships to graduating Illinois high school seniors and has disbursed over $200,000 to various charities and organizations.

​The IJCF is administered by a 12-member Board of Directors and meets up to four times each year in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees General Assembly Meetings. The Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees 1st Trimester General Assembly.

The Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation was established in 1980 by several formal leaders of the Illinois Jaycees. ​The fiscal year of the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following year.

Become a Member
​of the Foundation

Membership in the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation is open to all individuals who wish to support the Illinois Jaycees movement. There are four classes of membership: Regular, Associate, Founders Club, and Contributor. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the IJCF President.

Associate Membership is available to all members of the Illinois Jaycees residing within Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Jaycees.

Founders Club Membership is open to all individuals, organizations, and businesses. Members of the Founders Club can choose to be either Annual Members or Lifetime Members. Annual membership dues are $100, while lifetime membership dues are $1,000. For more details on annual or lifetime membership, please contact the IJCF President.

Regular Membership includes individuals who are residents of Illinois and meet one of the following criteria: a) have served a full term as President of the Illinois Jaycees or the Illinois Jaycee Women; b) have become a JCI Senator or Congresswoman; c) have served on the Board of Directors of the IJCF (mandatory while serving as an elected Board member); d) are Annual or Lifetime members of the Founders Club. Regular members in good standing have voting rights in all matters of business during the Annual Meeting. Regular membership dues are $50 per year.

Contributor Membership is open to any individual, corporation, business, Jaycee organization, JCI Senate organization, or other foundation. Various levels of Contributor Membership have been established to recognize those who have provided financial support to the IJCF, either through a one-time contribution or over a period of time. The levels include Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
